McCadden Jr. McCadden, John E., Jr. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Beloved husband of Patricia Niedt McCadden for 68 years. He was 98 and lived in Chesterfield. Mr. McCadden was born in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to St. Louis in 1949. He served more than five years in the Army Air Corps during WWII, achieving the rank of Captain, serving in the European Theatre. He attended Georgetown Preparatory School and the University of Virginia. Prior to his retirement, he was vice president of Steelcote Paint Manufacturing Co. and Niedt Realty Co.
