Fine study on the various kinds of English decorated trays produced between 1550 and 1850. Sections on each type (gold, silver-gilt, silver, Sheffield Plate, Japanned, papier-mache, pottery and porcelain, wood and parquetry, and Turnbridge Ware trays). 455 illustrations including 6 in color.
