Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First edition. Inscribed by the author on the first free endpaper: "To Vernon: / with my best / wishes. / John Jurick / Nov. 1965." The recipient's signature on the front pastedown. A little wear to the cloth at the extremities. The dust jacket with chipping and closed tears. Still, a very good example of this out of print and uncommon work of humor, dedicated "to all the men who have ever worn a military uniform and to the one hilarious memory they have a thousand times and more." A wildly satirical portrayal of military life, which manages to offer a glimmer of truth. Signed by Author(s).
