Nice, hand colored (light beige-yellow, green and pink) , approximately 15 x 9 1/2 inch survey map depicting a 1491 acre tract through which flowed the Conestogoe (Conestoga? ) Creek in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. , adjoining properties of London Company, Michael Garber, Leonard Bender and notation that James Marshall had a warrant for 100 acres. Very good. Folded into 4 (length and width) , 1/4 inch chip and 1/2 inch tear on side edge of one fold, 1/2 inch tears at intersection, remnants of a 3/4 x 1 inch label and title of map (in pencil) on reverse side, just starting to lightly age yellow, which gives it a nice patina, otherwise clean and unmarked.
