Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Bernard Meninsky (illustrator). 34x21cm, 29pp. With colour illustrations, mostly full page, by Bernard Meninsky. Bound in full blue cloth, gilt-blocked outline illustration to upper board, gilt title to backstrip, with printed and illustrated paper dustjacket preserved in an 'Adaptaroll' protector. A quite handsome and large-scale edition, rather surprisingly for the immediate post-war austerity years. Very Good (some fading to the cloth at the extremeties, internally very clean with no foxing or inscriptions, with the small bookplate of George Fleming to the front paste-down), the dustjacket Good (overall quite clean, but some loss to edges and corners, the illustration unaffected).
