CD-Rom in paper sleeve. Condition: very good. This report presents results of a study conducted between 1992 and 1996 to assess the undiscovered metallic mineral resources in the U.S. Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) Winnemucca District and Surprise Resource Area (WSRA), northwest Nevada and northeast California. A wide variety of mineral deposits are present throughout the WSRA, and they are hosted by rocks and surficial deposits ranging in age from lower Paleozoic to Quaternary that is, from approximately 570 million years (Ma) to about 1 Ma. The main metal commodities present in the WSRA, from a commercial standpoint, are gold, silver, and, to a lesser extent, tungsten. Gold currently accounts for most mining activities in the WSRA production of approximately 1.2 million oz Au occurred from 10 mines during 1995. Eight of these 10 mines also produced approximately 7.4 million oz Ag for a combined annual gross value of approximately $550 million. Gold in the WSRA is produced mostly from three types of deposits: (1) sediment-hosted (Carlin-type) deposits, (2) hotspring and vein-type epithermal gold-silver deposits, and (3) distal-disseminated silver-gold deposits. Some additional gold and silver production also is derived from a variety of less important types of mineral deposits, including minor production from placers.CD.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Limited edition. "One hundred and fifty copies only of "Eikon Basilike were printed for America ." Bound in publisher's brown cloth over gray boards. Good binding and cover. Top edge gilt. Added engraved series title, and second half-title. [7], iv, [8], 176, [1] pages, 1 unnumbered leaf of plates : illustrations ; 31 cm. Scattered foxing, staining. "[The book] was probably handed by the King to the Rev. Edward Symmons, by whom it was taken to Richard Royston, who had it printed by William Dugard. The very first issue bore no printer's or publisher's name, because a rumour of its intended publication had spread; and soldiers were sent to search for and seize it. . The present edition has been set up from an 'advance copy' of the first edition, which was apparently hidden by 'John Armstrong, corrector to Mr. Dugard's press, ' who was afterwards ordered to be 'apprehended and brought before the Council.' The text, including the list of errata, is identical with that of the first eidtion; but the title page bears the imprint: 'London. Printed for R. Royston in Ivie-Lane.' This, however, would have guided the enemy, and hence was omitted when the book was issued ."--Preface, pages iii-iv. Reprint of an advance copy of the first edition with imprint: London: Printed for R. Royston. This rare title page is reproduced and the old spelling preserved throughout.
