Softcover Wraps. Condition: Poor. First Edition. Undated but probably dating from around the 1870s. No publication details given but probably by Samuel French. There are no covers present. The first blank page has I believe had a cover stuck to it which is yellowy-grey in colour and a bit grubby. This has the title written on it… with a name down below this - I am not sure what this name signifies. Some brown spotting to the page edges and the top edges are chipped in places with some larger edge tearing at the top of pages 33 and 37 where the pages have been very roughly cut. The book is bound with string and this is loose and the binding quite slack. The pages are browned with some staining and spotting in places and there are a number of light annotations in pencil - mostly just short lines in the margins with a few words. Postage charge will be reduced by £1.50 when the order is processed.
