Paper. Condition: Good. First Edition. Two Original Hand Written Letters Signed by Surgeon/Zoologist John Stephenson. The letters are undated. One discusses the purchase of different periodicals and the other about meeting up in their boats. John Stephenson 1871 - 1933 was a surgeon and zoologist. He was a leading expert on the…earthworms of the Indian subcontinent and served as editor of the Fauna of British India series from 1927. Knowledgeable in Persian, Hindustani and some Arabic, he was also an orientalist scholar and translated several works from Persian to English. Sizes are 178mm x 115mm. Condition is good.
