Both boards OFF rear board MISSING, spine heavily rubbed with losses to ends, no title-plate, last page of text detached with edge chips & very badly creased alothought text legible. end-papers missing, starts with half-title page (no front…is if there was one), 9 plates out of 12 present and bound out of order, one plate to Persian Letters. Blotching to title-pages and to some of Persian letters, thin ink underlinings to some pages of text & one or two small markings, majority of text clean. Page-edges darkened, binding seems fairly sound. Needs repair.
