James Thomson (1700 - 1748) was a Scottish poet and playwright, known for his masterpiece The Seasons and the lyrics of Rule, Britannia! Amateurly rebound in quarter morocco with cloth to boards. Externally, generally smart just with minor wear to extremities, slight cocking to spine and odd marks to boards. Internally, firmly bound. Bright but with slight foxing to endpapers, the odd spot and handling mark to pages. Very Good. book.
