Title page (serving as upper cover) separated but present, textblock rather aggressively trimmed with some loss of text (though no loss of sense) to title page, occasional spotting. A Good example only. Funeral oration of Stephen Sewall (1702-1760), chief justice of the Superior Court. The fight for his vacant seat between the Crown loyalist Thomas Hutchinson and James Otis, Sr. would eventually "help. to crystallize colonial sentiment against British rule" (American National Biography).
