Seine Bilder heben sich damit von der in der Automobil-Fotografie gängigen Idealisierung ihrer Objekte ab. Seine Fotoserie, entstanden über zehn Jahre, hält die Oberflächen und das Innenleben der still stehenden Objekte fest. So enthüllt er ungewöhnliche Details dieser Maschinen, die eigentlich für harten Wettbewerb und ein Leben in Hochgeschwindigkeit geschaffen wurden.
