Condition: Befriedigend. Halbleder Halbledereinband d.Zt. mit Rückenvergoldung, Lederecken, Farbschnitt. Die Deckel sind deutlich berieben und stellenweise bestoßen, das Leder ist stark beschabt, einige Aufplatzer am hinteren Gelenk. Der Kopfschnitt ist verstaubt und gedunkelt, sonst ordentlich. Fliegender Vorsatz mit neuerer (1954) Widmung mit Bleistift, darunter Abdrücke einer ausradierten Widmung. Bibliotheksstempel auf der Titelseite und verso (Musejni Knihovna Pisku). Die Seiten sind alterstypisch leicht gedunkelt, häufig leicht braunfleckig, einige Eselsohren. Zwei Blatt mit Papierfehlern seitl., vermutl. herstellungsbedingt. Zwei der drei Stammtafeln sind leicht verfaltet, eine davon seitl. etwas überständig, dadurch am Rand verstaubt. Insgesamt sehr ordentlicher, altersgemäßer Zustand. Joseph Calasanz, Ritter von Arneth (* 12. August 1791 in Leopoldschlag; 31. Oktober 1863 in Karlsbad) war ein österreichischer Archäologe und Numismatiker.Von 1824 bis 1828 war er Professor für Geschichte in Wien. Danach hatte er eine administrative Tätigkeit für die kaiserlichen Sammlungen. Ab 1840 war er Direktor des k.k. Münz- und Antikenkabinetts zu Wien, Mitglied der k.k. Centralkommission zur Erforschung und Erhaltung der Baudenkmale sowie Universitätsprofessor an der Universität Wien.
