Wacker, Albrecht [Franz Karner] Josef 'Sepp' Allerberger (26 December 1924 - 1 March 2010) was a German sniper in the II Battalion of the 144th Gebirgsjäger Regiment of the 3rd Mountain Division on the Eastern Front, and was credited with 257 kills.

Illustrated by Josef Hlinomaz (9 October 1914 - 8 August 1978) was a Czechoslovak film actor, journalist, and painter. He appeared in more than 150 films and television shows between 1948 and 1978. [Czechoslovakia (Czech and Slovak: Ceskoslovensko, Cesko-Slovensko) was a sovereign state in Central Europe that existed from October 1918, when it declared its independence from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, until its peaceful dissolution into the Czech Republic and Slovakia on 1 January 1993].

Hand written number 6 of 100 Limited Edition copies SIGNED by the author 'Albrecht Wacker' to the title page. In Fine unused and new condition. In 2005, a book titled 'Sniper on the Eastern Front: The Memoirs of Sepp Allerberger, Knight's Cross' was written by Albrecht Wacker based on interviews with Allerberger. The book was noted for suggesting that the Soviets had cannibalised their own comrades' corpses, and graphic depictions of torture. The translation into English is an abridged version of this book 'Im Auge des Jägers'. The first three volumes of this work appeared under the title Der Wehrmachtsscharfschütze Franz Karner, as Allerberger was initially reluctant to be named. Member of the P.B.F.A.
