This numismatic reference describes some 7000 odd varieties of Civil War tokens, both of the "Patriotic" type with slogans characteristic of the Northern sentiment and the "Tradesmen's" store card type which used many of the same dies but bore the merchant's own advertising legend. Overall condition is Very Good. Binding is secure. Jacket is in Good condition, intact but with fading and some chipping and loss at the corners and edges.
