Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Good. Compact books with original leather bindings with rather faded gilt titles and decorations on spines. Moderate wear and rubbing to leather with splitting of spine edges, but spine remain intact and firm. The books originally belonged to Ecole Polytechnique - 535 and 616 pages with red ends. Inside each front cover is a book plate - The gift of M Oppenheimer (1853-1927, bibliophile and pioneer historian of English naval administration) in 1919 to Bath Public Reference Library, nut none of the usual lending library stamps. Published in 1749 both volumes (II and VI) of six volumes set are in good possibly very good condition.
