El gran maestro Sun Yun-hai, su padre y a la vez su maestro, es sucesor directo de la 18ª generación de la Escuela Wutang Longmen y de la 24ª generación de Tao Chikung, quien también le inició en el arte de la curación con estas técnicas milenarias de chikung. El maestro Sun Junqing, convencido de que el chikung -el mayor tesoro de la cultura china- es patrimonio de la humanidad, desde 1991 está dedicado a difundir por todo el mundo el "Wubaomen Chikung", el método del nivel más elevado entre los muchos del chikung, y de ese modo está contribuyendo a la salud, a la longevidad y a la paz de toda la humanidad.
