Condition: Befriedigend. Halbleinen Schöner, sauberer Halbleineneinband mit Kroko-Muster, Nachbindung vermutlich von 1928, praktisch ohne Gebrauchsspuren, blauer Farbschnitt, Ornamentpapier in Vor- und Nachsatz. Die Seiten sind sauber und gut, allenfalls leicht gedunkelt und mit minimalen Gebrauchsspuren. Mit (vielen) Illustrationen und Karten. Ferdinand Justi (* 2. Juni 1837 in Marburg; 17. Februar 1907 ebenda) war ein deutscher Orientalist, der auch als Darsteller und Erforscher ländlich-bäuerlicher Kultur in Hessen im ausgehenden 19. Jahrhundert bekannt wurde. Justi studierte in Marburg und Göttingen Sprachwissenschaft. 1861 habilitierte er sich in Marburg, wo er 1865 außerordentlicher und 1869 ordentlicher Professor für vergleichende Grammatik und germanistische Philologie wurde.
