Seated female nude. Pencil drawing. Circa 1920. Signed lower left. 31.5 x 24.5 cm. Justitz studied in Prague under Jan Kotera, Maximilian Pirner, and others. Influenced by the works of Paul Cézanne and Honoré Daumier, he designed posters for galleries and shops in the 1920s and produced illustrations for the Czech edition of Victor Hugo's Notre-Dame de Paris.
