Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Cracking to front and rear hinges with netting exposed. Binding loose. Boards have moderate shelf wear with mild bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces heavily tanned, particularly spine.

The first leaflet contains a series of questions on Parliament, its powers, composition and procedures. The second leaflet offers answers to those questions relevant to the 1950s. Produced by the Hansard Society, long-time Parliament's critical friend, they constitute an interesting ephemeral insight in the UK Parliament in the 1950s, and would make a great basis for a pop quiz on parliamentary history and culture.
