Originally secured by staples, the pages have apparently become loose, and have been repaired by a previous owner, using tape. Ink written note at the bottom of the title page, indicating the author's address. An author's note states 'This is a story of a family of merry children and their adventures in their home playground, a Pine Wood, where they meet Red Indians, Pirates, Brownies, eytc.,all of which however, eventually prove to have a natural explanation'.
