It shows Europe, lower Scandinavia, North Africa, and large portions of Turkey and Russia and the railroad and steamship routes for these countries. The map is in good condition with some light soiling and wear to the sections. The cloth binder has some wear and the front cover is detached. …

Broadside map, 76 x 87 cm, sectioned and laid down on linen, folded into a black gilt-stamped cloth folder (rubbed, spine perished), showing the railroad systems of Europe, from Great Britain and then Scandinavian countries, south to North Africa, and east to encompass Turkey and Russia to the Caspian Sea, then countries in various pastel shades, the railways distinct. Cover title: Dr. K. Sohr / Einbahnkarte von Europa. Flemming apparently published this map annually, with additions and corrections, 1870-1892. OCLC locates three copies of this edition (Newberry, Harvard, Infothek SBB Historic - Switzerland). Paper title panel on verso of map chipped, some separations to linen at folds, but a good copy.…

8°. Karte in Orig.-Farblithographie in 32 Segmenten auf Leinen aufgezogen und faltbar eingerichtet (ca. 80 x 97 cm). In OLn.-Mappe mit goldgepr. Titel a.d. Vorderdeckel (leichte Gebrauchsspuren). Die Leinenrückseite stellenweise braunfleckig. Im Kartenbild vereinzelt gering fleckig.
