Written in both English and Arabic. This is the first volume in a series of reports, which presents the findings of The Danish Archeological Expedition to the Arabian Gulf. The expedition lasted from 1953-1965 and operated its research within the frontiers of the Sheikdom of Qatar, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, along the Trucial Coast, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. "The object of this work is to give a description of the Stone-Age remains within the Sheikdom of Qatar." (Preface). Some pages still uncut, light toning to end pages, and corners and spine rubbed. Overall in very good condition.
