De Backer-Sommervogel, VII,1541.- D…as vorliegende zweibändige Werk des Jesuitenpaters Karl Steinkellner wurde 1758 erstmalig veröffentlicht und ist ein Lehrbuch der Moralphilosophie und des Naturrechts. Steinkellner (1719/1720 1776) arbeitete als Professor für Rhetorik und Moralphilosophie an der Universität zu Wien.Der österreichische Verleger Johannes Thomas Trattner (1717 1798) war Buchdrucker, Buchhändler und Verleger. Aus allereinfachsten Familienverhältnissen stammend und früh verwaist arbeitete Trattner sich vom Schriftsetzer hoch zum Großverleger.
