Dust jackets scuffed and edgeworn, including a few small closed tears and minor chipping at spine ends and fore-edge corners, tanned to spines. Both jackets are also price-clipped at bottom corners of front inner flaps. Pages foxed, moreso to book one than book two. Tiny bookseller's tickets adhered at half title of both books, in the bottom margin near the gutter. Interiors else unmarked. Lavishly illustrated, all illustrations present: each book featuring eight color plates, and with sixty-four pages of black-and-white line drawings in book one, and seventy-one pages of same in book two.
