Hard cover. Condition: Good. No jacket. Volume 9 of the Vienna Circle Collection. Nice copy. No dust jacket, but some of jacket is pasted into back of book. Cover is in good condition. Binding is secure. Previous owner's ink signature and some tanning on front endpaper. Light pencil on some pages, not affecting legibility of tex…t. All other pages are lightly tanned, but otherwise clean and unmarked. As is.

The original black cloth is in excellent shape with corners square and gilt lettering on the spine as bright as if just issued. The interior is creamy-bright and completely clean, despite just a blush of toning to the endpapers. The original colorful dust jacket shows a few freckles on its interior, with a small tear at the top-edge. [Please see my five images of the actual book.] "Felix Kaufmann attended meetings of the Vienna Circle regularly and was a bridge between the Circle and the phenomenological movement, of which he was later one of the leading exponents at the New School in New York. § This early characteristic work, the author's own favorite, combines the best features of both schools. Two contemporary articles on related themes are included: one published, in German, in 'Erkenntnis' (1931); the other, heretofore unpublished."---gleaned from flap and preface. As with every book from my father's collection, tipped-in at the front is the small, attractive, acid-free bookplate pictured on my homepage.
