Many books have been published on riding but they entail close study and memorisation by the pupil who must digest large masses of text before he can practise. The objecd of this book is to reduce the amount of text to the minimum and to employ the maximum number of illustrations. In other words, it is a picture riding book designed so that the student may see instead of being obliged to use his imagination. Although produced primarily to assist the beginner of moderate means, much will be found in it of interest to those more fortunately placed, for one of riding's greatest fascinations lies in the fact that one has never finished learning, that one is never perfect. At the end there is a list of words and terms that every rider should know.
