The legal reports with which his name is associated were first published in 1602 and edited from his papers by John Croke, under the title ?Relatio…nes quorundam casuum selectorum ex libris Rob. Keilwey Arm. qui temporibus felicissimæ memoriæ Regis Henrici Septimi et inclitissimi Regis Henrici 8vi emerserunt et in prioribus impressionibus relationum de terminis illorum Regum non exprimuntur in lucem editæ anno 44o illustrissimi regni serenissimæ Reginæ Elizabethæ.? Sir William Jones [1631-1682] was a lawyer, judge and politician renowned for his wisdom and legal acumen. Posts he held included member of Parliament, solicitor-general and attorney-general.
