Mit einem sehr schönen Exlibris im Judendstil "Max Kaufmann". Julius Kempf (29. Juni *1870 in Steinach (an der Fränkischen Saale); [16. April]] 1957 in München-Pasing) war ein deutscher Architekt und Sachbuchautor (Architekturschriftsteller). 1906 erbaute er die Vereinsturnhalle des Turnvereins Passau und wurde dafür zum Ehrenmitglied ernannt. 1912 veröffentlichte er unter dem Titel Altpassauer Architektur eine Mappe mit Architekturfotos und maßstäblich wiedergegebenen Zeichnungen, die heute noch wertvolle Unterlagen für die Baugeschichte der Stadt bilden. Von ihm stammen die Pläne für mehrere Häuser in Passau, unter anderem für das Café-Chromy-Haus in der Schustergasse (1902). 1913 zog er nach München. 1925 veröffentlichte er das große Werk Bayerische Heimat- Bildtafeln für Heimatkunde.
