Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Near Fine. See images and description. New York, 1996: Harper's Magazine issue for December, 1996. Quarto, illustrated wraps, 80 pp. Very Scarce genre issue. Remarkable Near Fined example. There is a faint crease angling down the front cover, not visible in scanned image, and. that's it. Very clean. This example rare as it is, is also signed by Stuart Dybek at the top of his story (see below). An American Yearning (Peter Marin); While You Were Sleeping (Charles Bowden); Far From Normal (Ken Kalfus); Je Reviens (Stuart Dybek, who, as noted signed the title page of this story here); Thomas H. Middleton Acrostic (Anacrostic). Middleton is widely regarded as the best constructor of acrostics - ever. His offerings were unique in that field. One such acrostic is within, and by itself makes this a genre collectible of rarity. The Dybek signature uts it over the top. And.try to find another copy anywhere. They exist, but they're scarce in any state. This December,1996 issue of Harper's is, for whatever reason, extraordinarily scarce. Ships in stout protection, of course. LPR19.
