Kenneth Gelder's introduction gives a detailed background to Stevenson and the Scottish influences in his writing. Previously published in 1989, this book has been republished in a new format as part of the 1994 Stevenson Centenary celebrations. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.
