Soft cover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Offered is a print entitled "Gasparilla Day" by Kent Hagerman (1893-1978). With the border, the print measures 9-7/8" by 13" - the print itself measures 7" by 9". I am not an expert on prints, and would place this print circa 1940s. Printed directly under the print is the title and artist's printed name. Condition: written to the lower margin nearest the print is an inscription in blue pen (not from the artist): "To My 'Yankee' Friend - From his 'Rebel' Pal. Jay"; the medium-stock paper is lightly age-browned and shows edge wear and corner creases; there is a small pin-hole and tape remnant to the top where the print was previously hung.

No Binding. Condition: Very Good. Sheet measures 13 inches long x 10 inches tall. Deckled left edge. Image size 10 inches long x 7 inches tall. Title handwritten in pencil bottom left; signed in pencil by artist bottom right. Slight foxing and tanning of edges. Accompanied by Season's Greetings flyer from Florida Electric Supply, Inc. describing the setting of Dub's Cast. Flyer foxed and tanned. "Dub's Cast" was the seventh in a series entitled "Florida Sports Etchings," made for Florida Electric Supply, Inc. to give to customers as Christmas presents. Signed by Illustrator(s).

The Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar (Navy and Marine Corps designation R4Q) was an American military transport aircraft developed from the World War II-era Fairchild C-82 Packet, designed to carry cargo, personnel, litter patients, and mechanized equipment, and to drop cargo and troops by parachute. Early in his career he illustrated newspapers and magazines. He had an engraving co. in Denver with his brother. From 1940s onward his signature was Kent Hagerman. He moved to Lakeland, Florida in 1933 with his wife Carrie. Hagerman became known for his etchings of Florida life and historical subjects in the U.S. * Printed on creme wove paper - not laid down. * 10" x 6 5/8" to plate mark. * Matted to 10 3/8" x 7 3/8" - full wide margins. * Green metal frame - 16 3/8" x 13 7/8". * Excellent condition.
