Original green cloth covers w/ titles in gilt. Bindings moderately soiled and rubbed w/ wear to extremities. 1" tear to top part of front hinge of Vol. 2. Light foxing to edges of text block. Previous owner's name on front paste-down of both volumes. Rear hinges starting. Edges of leaves lightly age toned. Both volumes illust. w/ color and b/w plates and numerous b/w illustrations.
Perrien Keydel Co. Two Volumes. Rebound in Buckram with gold stamping. Original cloth from the front on the original bindings glued to the front. This original cloth was a bit damage (lightened)in spo ts on volume one but looks nice rebound this way. Rebound in Denver 1975 (receipt inside). Interiors are very good to fine. 1/2 at worst up from the bottom is a slight damp stain on volume one pages. This appears to have occurred before rebinding. The pages are otherwise fine. No foxing or darkening on either volume.
