Sun-faded spine; rubbed corners and spine ends, cloth wearing; quite cocked. Top text block edge dust damaged, remaining edges tanning. Endpapers starting to fox and tan; remains of bookplate on front free endpaper. Prelims foxing and slightly soiled, pages aging. Gutters cracked and strained, volume quite loose.

Condition: Good. 1887. No edition remarks. 177 pages. No dust jacket. Pictorial cloth covered boards. Black and white illustration plates. Gilt edges to textblock. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Some cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding loose. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing, fraying and tearing to spine ends and edges. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is dulled but remains brighter on front. Book has slight forward lean.
