Condition: Gut. Broschur Originalbroschur mit Rückenstreifen. Außenblätter mit leichten Knitterspuren, die Seiten sind bis auf wenige kleine Eselsohren sauber und gut. Der Verfasser war Rektor an der Ludwigs-Realschule in Ingolstadt und beteiligte sich offenbar an dem Wettbewerb um den Wolfskehl-Preis. Dieser betrug 100.000 Goldmark und war von der Gesellschaft der Wissenschaften zu Göttingen 1908 für den Beweis des Fermatschen Satzes ausgelobt worden. In der Hoffnung auf den Preis hatte sich Killermann die Rechte an seiner Beweisführung notariell sichern lassen, wie auf dem Titelblatt vermerkt ist. Daß seine Beweisführung offensichtlich nicht ausreichend war, zeigt die Vergabe des Preises erst im Jahre 2015 an den britischen Mathematiker Andrew Wiles.
