He leads Kerala's transition to a Knowledge Economy and drives innovation promotion initiatives. His exceptional contributions have garnered numerous awards and positioned him as a leader in driving socio-economic growth and technological advancements in Kerala. Kiran Kumar Kakarlapudi is an Assistant Professor at Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation (GIFT), Thiruvananthapuram. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Centre for Development Studies (CDS) affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram.
