Condition: Good. One 9cm b&w photo pasted to 10.5 cm card. Bottom right corner of photo creased. Photographer, who later moved to Hamilton, is on rear. A female infant in her coffin. Such images served as cherished family keepsakes, honoring their memory. The later invention of the carte de visite, which allowed multiple prints to be made from a single negative, meant that copies of the image could be mailed to relatives.
