Sie thematisieren ihre eigene nicht vorhandene Handlung, eine Leerstelle, und handeln eben dadurch von etwas. Sowohl En attendant Godot als auch Der Prozess können infolge dessen als von sich selbst handelnde Schriften gelesen werden. Sie sind intratextuell, gehen jedoch auf Grund der Art dieser intratextuellen Darstellung weit über einen bloßen Intratext hinaus. Die Zielsetzung der Arbeit ist die Untersuchung der Handlung auf ihre Leerstellen und die Thematisierung dieser Leerstellen in der Handlung selbst.
