Slight edge-wear to covers, previous owner signature on the title page - that of Cathy Hillenbrand, proprietor of Seattle's Comet Tavern and publisher of The Real Come…t Press. First published the prior year. An exciting collection of photos capturing the vital San Francisco punk scene. Among the best are those by Fitzgerald, who used insane-asylums and industrial wastelands as settings for his photoshoots. Those tableaux and his habit of shooting at odd angles created a disturbing visual language somewhere between Brassai and Weegee. A handsome copy. Raye Santos, Richard McCaffrey and f Stop Fitzgerald (illustrator).
