This unusual book consists of 2 pull out, accordion-fold photos on card stock that unfold nearly 10 feet in length, with 11 pages of historical background text by Peter Bacon Hales and others. One photo is a reproduction of a 360 degree panorama of the city of San Francisco from a vantage point on Nob Hill, taken by Eadweard Muybridge in 1878.
