Illustrated throughout with illustrations by various artists. Condition: Fair condition. The boards and spine are heavily rubbed with some fraying, the inner binding is shaken and there is some foxing to the pages but the book remains in good readable condition.

In fawn paper-covered boards, with tipped in colour illustration on front pane, green titles on spine. Top edge gilt. 4to. Very slightly cocked. Boards a little worn and rubbed at edges. Two inked inscriptions on front free endpaper, dated 1915 and 1952 respectively. Endpapers a tad brown and spotted, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A gloriously illustrated tribute to the English countryside and art in nature.
