Einzige Ausgabe dieses sehr seltenen astronomischen Lehrbuches, gleichzeitig eines seiner Hauptwerke. - Kmeth (1783-1825), Assistent an der Ofener Sternwarte, war Professor der theoretischen und angewandten Mathematik in Kaschau. Aufsehen erregte er durch die Beschuldigung, dass sein Vorgesetzter fingierte Daten veröffentlicht haben soll. Pasquich wurde aber später von Encke, Gauss und Schumacher rehabilitiert. - Titel mit (gelöschtem) Besitzvermerk von alter Hand. Einband gering bestoßen. Insgesamt schönes und nahezu fleckenfreies Exemplar, gedruckt auf bläulichem Papier. - Poggendorff I, 1278; Houzeau-Lancaster 8137.
