Hardback small octavo, no jacket, good condition, blue cloth cover (gilt embossed design front cover & spine), full-page drawings (woodcuts), duplicate (extra-illustrated) title page, frontispiece drawing (with tissue guard), single-colour maps at rear, recased (new grey endpapers), pages toned, minor foxing (but notable first & last page), minor edgewear. 263 pp. A narrative written from letters sent by Teodor Knos (Knoes) when he travelled throughout New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria in 1873. Written in the Swedish language (title translates as: Pictures from Life in Australia: Travelogues: With Illustrations and Maps). Beautiful gilt front cover design of Aborigine with spear, kangaroo, emu and platypus surrounded by vegetation. (Repaired copy with new endpapers.).

Pp. (viii), 262. With frontispiece, extra illustrated title, 2 maps (on one plate) and 11 woodcut illustrations. Publisher's pictorial blue cloth, gilt, corners lightly rubbed. Slightly shaken. A narrtaive based on letters written by Knös when he travelled through New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.
