This is a trade catalog made by the manufacturer, KNY-Scheerer, for one of its distributors in this case Blees-Moore Instrument Co. of St. Louis. The title page and front cover have the distributor's name while each page makes note of the mfgr Like most trade catalogs this will be superseded at frequent intervals and is not intended to be physically permanent. This example is in sound condition, a flimsy, flexible red binding with darkened black lettering with considerable edgewear. 100's of pages on good quality paper with line drawings ilustrating 1000's of surgical instruments in use more than 100 years ago. Front hinge thinly cracked; we note (intentional) excisions of products to three leaves, costing at most about 30% loss. Still a well-preserved example of a highly desirable medical trade catalog.
