Die Bremer Kaufmannstochter Ida Kohl (1814-1888) begleitete ihren älteren Bruder, den bekannten Geographen und Reiseschriftsteller Johann Georg Kohl, auf seinen Reisen nach England und Frankreich. 1844 veröffentlichten sie gemeinsam ihre "Englische Skizzen". Ida heiratete wenige Jahre später den großherzogl.-oldenburgischen Kammerherrn und dänischen Hofjägermeister Hermann Wilhelm Graf von Baudissin. Dies ist ihre einzige selbständige Veröffentlichung.
