Very good condition overall. The wrappers show light handling wear and a few soft creases along the spine and edges, most visible at the lower left front corner. The interior pages are clean, unmarked, and bright, with no stains, foxing, or tears. The staples are secure and without corrosion. The rear cover shows mild toning at the edges consistent with age and slight mailing wear to the bulk-rate postage area. The catalogue retains full integrity and presents well, an unusually well-preserved example of a working dealer catalogue from the early 1980s. Issued to accompany the gallery's offerings of American and European prints from the 19th and 20th centuries. The Chicago gallery, established in 1940, was known for handling significant works on paper by artists such as George Bellows, Grant Wood, and Toulouse-Lautrec. The catalogue includes concise illustrated listings with titles, media, edition sizes, Mason references for Bellows prints, and framed prices current to 1981 ($450-$3,600). The design follows the straightforward, scholarly format used by long-established print dealers, with images reproduced in offset and mailing information printed directly on the back cover for distribution to clients. Today it serves as a valuable reference for provenance research and price history in the American print market of the late 20th century.
