Hardcover without dust jacket, 34 pages (plus two identical illustrations, slightly smaller than the pages, laid in, captioned Vrolyk Pasen Wenst ["happy easter wishes"?, presumably not related to the text although their rusty red on beige colouring strangely matches the colouring of the book's pale orange covers and darker beige/tan endpapers], plus, also laid in, a knitted lace marker;--- text in Dutch;------"Dit is nummer 6" of this limited edition (of 125?), numbered by hand;--elegant, attractive little book with title and simple drawing of Plato on front cover, traces of foxing and age toning to top and fore edges, but overall very gently used, hardly a trace of shelf wear, previous owner's professionally designed (by owner, Dutch-Canadian silhouette artist and graphic designer Hans-Detlev Voss who still lived and worked in The Netherlands during the 1930s/1940s) bookplate inside front cover, his usual tiny ink numeral inside back cover, pages very clean and unmarked, surprisingly fresh and white with just scattered hints of foxing.
