Soft cover. Condition: Fine for Age. 1st Edition. Attractive sof covers ill with different coloured variations on same design, surisingly good condition though sp. ends slightly chipped and bottom February fr. has a few rubbing patches of little significance. February: 96 pp. inc. a few adverts at end and inside covers, verso t.p. has Schopenhauer engr. portrait, numerous other mostly small ills. throughout, much of text set with hanging shoulder notes, inc. Bertrand Russell on 'China's Philosophy of Happiness', Will Durant on Spengler and articles on Herbert Spencer and 'Beyond Freud and Adler' plus 2 more, 6 in all. no significant internal faults. March: 96 pp. Spinoza portrait verso t.p. as February: again 6 papers inc. one by psychologist Joseph Jastrow on 'Cause and Effect' and others on Einstein, Hegel, and Durant on 'The Twilight of Civillization', May: 96 pp. as previous, Descartes portrait verso t.p., again 6 papers inc. Durant and Jastrow among authors. Clement Wood, Oppenheim and Bernard de Casseres each appear as authors- the first 2 three times and the last twice. Clearly an interesting high-brow, but popularly pitched, little magazine with eminent contributors from Philosophy, Psychology, history and literary worlds. Oddly elusive to track down any web information on it. 14 cm x 19,5 cm.
