Bright gilt lettering and illustrations on the covers and spine. Cloth tears at the cover corners. Cloth tears and small bits of cloth missing at the top and bottom edges of the spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. Mild foxing to the text pages throughout the book, though heavier foxing on the end papers, frontispiece and title page. Heavy tanning to the yellow front and rear end papers. The front yellow end paper has a tiny tear at the outer edge. Name/date (1857) written in ink on the half title page. Overall the book is in Good condition.

C. Korner's Woldemar with the final tale by the same writer "The Harp, A Tale Favouring a Belief In Spirits". A book for the literary collector and obscure supernatural and other Gothic grisly tales.
