"The symposium: Women on Campus, 1970, held at Michigan University on October 14, 1970, centered on 3 major topics: "Toward a New Psychology of Women"; "The Case of the Woman Graduate Student"; and "The University and Women." The papers that were presented concerning the first topic included: "Internal Barriers to Achievement in Women--An Introduction," by Elizabeth Douvan; "Psychological and Psychosomatic Responses to Oral Contraceptive Use," by Judith Bardwick; "The Motive to Avoid Success and Changing Aspirations of College Women," by Matina Horner; and "Differential Impact of College on Males and Females," by D. Diane Hatch. Miss Kramer meticulously accumulated all the facts about the sixteen Hilltown schools and the Silverdale School of the community in which she lived and carefully wrote a story of education in a rural Bucks County, Pennsylvania in the early years of the 20th century - The entire report was carefully bound and photographs taken of each school house were included," this scarce, wonderful time capsule is in excellent condition, we note that the photo at the front of the book which includes the young author, has a brief ink note added by a former owner ; 26 pages.
